Ahead of the upcoming token airdrop on The Open Network, Notcoin, a popular viral Telegram clicker game, has disclosed that it will be distributing a total of 100,000 Toncoin (TON) to players through a new quest. Additionally, millions of in-game coins will be rewarded to select “O.G.” users.
The new in-game quest, named “TON for Fun,” offers players a chance to earn 3 million Notcoin bonus and 1 TON upon completion of all tasks. The 100,000 TON being distributed to participants is currently valued at over $400,000. The quest will only be accessible until 100,000 players have successfully completed it.
To qualify for rewards, players must achieve Diamond League status in the coin-tapping game, invite at least five friends to play, and connect their TON wallet. This will unlock 1 TON and mark the first phase of the quest.
Meeting the requirements for the second part of the quest is more challenging. Players must have a paid Telegram Premium account and hold 25 TON in their connected wallet to receive the bonus 3 million Notcoin in the game.
In addition to the quest, Notcoin has introduced an NFT-based voucher system for trading Notcoin ahead of the airdrop. Players with 10 million Notcoin or more can convert their coins into vouchers for trading with other players and eventual redemption for actual Notcoin post-token drop.
With over 28 million Telegram users having engaged with Notcoin so far, and with 4 million daily users as per game data, a staggering 42 trillion Notcoin has been mined collectively through rapid coin tapping. The active user balances will be converted into an on-chain crypto token.
Representatives from Notcoin have indicated to Decrypt’s GG that the token is anticipated to transition to the blockchain and be airdropped to players towards the end of March or early April.
