ANZ Bank Tests New Feature: Chainlink Introduces CCIP Private Transactions

Chainlink Launches CCIP Private Transactions, ANZ Bank Pilots New Feature

Chainlink has recently introduced CCIP Private Transactions, a new privacy-preserving feature powered by the Chainlink Blockchain Privacy Manager. This advancement is designed to assist financial institutions in upholding integrity and safety when conducting transactions across blockchain networks.

The Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) is one of the pioneering financial institutions utilizing this technology. ANZ will be conducting a pilot test of the solution for cross-chain settlement of tokenized real-world assets as part of Singapore’s Monetary Authority Project Guardian initiative.

By introducing CCIP Private Transactions, Chainlink is addressing the obstacles that have impeded institutional adoption of blockchain technology. Previously, financial institutions struggled to meet regulatory requirements such as the European Union’s GDPR and Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II. This innovation allows institutions to navigate different blockchain networks while adhering to regulatory standards, enabling seamless transfer of data and value between public and private blockchain ecosystems.

Nigel Dobson, ANZ’s Banking Services Lead, emphasized the potential of this new privacy feature to drive institutional adoption of blockchain technology. The partnership with Chainlink Labs will demonstrate the effectiveness of CCIP in addressing privacy concerns within the industry.

In terms of market response, Chainlink’s LINK token has seen a bullish trend following the announcement, with a 2.67% increase over the past 24 hours reaching $12.02. Technical indicators suggest the possibility of further growth, as the MACD has entered positive territory indicating increasing buying pressure. Moreover, the RSI at 59.03 signals room for growth before reaching overbought conditions. Breaking through the $12.50 resistance level could potentially propel the token to higher levels.
