Aethir introduces $100M fund to drive advancement in AI and gaming technologies

Aethir Launches $100M Fund to Accelerate AI and Gaming Innovation

Aethir, a decentralized GPU cloud computing provider, has recently launched the Aethir Ecosystem Fund worth $100 million to drive innovation in AI and gaming. In conjunction with the Aethir Catalyst program, this initiative offers startups and enterprises access to top-notch GPU resources. The fund will distribute a total of 336 million ATH tokens over the next year, with a balanced focus on both AI and gaming projects.

According to Daniel WANG, CEO of Aethir, this $100 million fund aims to cater to the needs of startups and enterprises seeking advanced GPU resources. The Aethir Catalyst program, serving as the core of the fund, will allocate $20 million to support over 100 projects through grants and subsidies. Mark RYDON, co-founder and CSO of Aethir, highlights that this fund signifies a significant step towards democratizing GPU access and overcoming financial hurdles faced by companies in these industries.

The 336 million ATH tokens, allocated equally between AI and gaming projects, will facilitate strategic partnerships and foster innovation across various domains. The fund’s distribution model is designed to lower computing expenses for companies integrating AI, machine learning, or high-performance gaming applications. In addition to grants, the fund includes a subsidy program that can cover up to 35% of off-platform GPU services, enabling companies to leverage high-performance computing without upfront costs.

With the launch of the Aethir Ecosystem Fund, Aethir is poised to make a substantial impact on the AI and gaming sectors, offering valuable support to startups and enterprises looking to harness the power of advanced GPU resources.
